As the title suggests why is 50 instead of 60 FPS the default. Is it that it looks better at that speed or is it set that way for performance reasons.
Anyone responding please state what yours is set to. Currently I am set to 60FPS.
Why is 50 FPS the defualt desire framerate setting.

Not every one has such a high spec machine as you have, therefore SoundSpectrum have to bear in mind that users of Aeon will have machines with a whole range of different specs. Andy usually sets the default to what he thinks is the optimum, and he is the boss. However, he gives users the option to increase or decrease the fps to suit individual tastes.
I don't think we need to start a thread just to see what fps users have Aeon set to, so I am locking this thread.
