How do i save my managed waves, themes, and backgrounds?
I recently went through and checked off all of the backgrounds and wave forms i didn't like in the standalone window. When i tried to save my settings nothing happened. After restarting standalone i realized that everything was checked again! I'm using whitecap on a macbook pro. Can someone please tell me how i can save my managed waves, themes, backgrounds?

I see what you mean as I did the same thing and had the same question, when you save a preset what happens is whitecap saves the 3 active configs showing on the screen at the time of pressing the set button.
that means if you see something you like happen on the screen and you are quick enough to hit the set button you can all ways bring it back.
if you want to see only the configs you like you go into the manage backgrounds, wave, ect and uncheck the ones you dont like and whitecap will only work those configs.
Thats the thing though, i did go through and uncheck the waves and backgrounds i didn't like, but whitecap didn't seem to save my selection. When i relaunched whitecap everything was selected as if i didn't do anything.if you want to see only the configs you like you go into the manage backgrounds, wave, ect and uncheck the ones you dont like and whitecap will only work those configs.
What do i have to do to make whitecap only work with my configured waves/ backgrounds/themes??
I'm using the "standalone" application if that makes a difference.

it does the same for me, its a pain in the ass to have to re-uncheck stuff you dont want to see. dont know why it does this and there doesnt seem to be a way to make it stop.
Andy will have to explain why it works like this.
