Custom Backgrounds on OS X

First of i just wana say that i really enjoy WhiteCap & G-Force....
Now i wnated to try to set some custom backgrounds but I don't know how to do it on a Mac. On my PC ist's no problem....
I really need some help

in white cap if you want to save a preset hit the set button then hit 1,2,3,4, or 5 and it should save the current wave shape background and colorscheme.

WC only saves the stuff you see on screen at that moment


if you wish to see only certain backgrounds go to the menu select backgrounds then hit the manage backgrounds button there you will be able to check or uncheck the backgrounds you like.

what i ment is How i could use custom Images for a Background cause on Windows theres a folder where u can put the images an then u can use it as a background in where the Waves are playing....

well there are png files located in the wc folders but they are accompanied by another file labled .py so I dont know how to create one for the png which could be made with adobe photoshop or some other quality graphics app.


check the customization doc found in the soundspectrum documentation folder

For using custom images on the mac you have to copy the pictures in following directory:
/userdir/Library/Application Support/SoundSpectrum/WhiteCap//Home/Backgound Images/Custom

userdir is your personal directory

this should work :wink:
