Dual Screen and full screen problems

Post by Andish »

I just discovered WhiteCap and it's truely amazing!

However, I'm using 2 screens, and when I'm not using one of them, I have whitecap standalone running on it.

On putting it in full screen mode, it's perfect, but as soon as I move to the other screen and click somewhere or when I use Alt+Tab, whitecap minimizes itself to the taskbar.

How to avoid this? Can someone help me out? Thanks!

its been happening with GF also.

try this, If you can overscan your secondary monitor just make it big enough so that you can hide the border of WC when in window mode.

then by stretching the WC window until you cannot see the border any more you have the fullscreen effect but it wont minmize when you hit your other screen

I tried this already, but it slows down the visualization... That's why I want to run it in fullscreen :(

if windowed mode is slower than fullscreen then maybe you need to update your video card, GF runs just as fast in windowed as it does in full screen as it should.

If I were you I would update the video drivers and add more ram to your laptop
