Post by sonicmonki »

Hi , my G-Force screensaver just makes my screen blink on and off since the last update on Platinum

I have used G-force screensaver on my mac for over 3 years with no problems, all my other screensavers work just fine I would love to haveg-force screensaver working again
Any ideas for me to try ?
thanks Sonicmonki

First of all, make sure that the version number of the screensaver matches your current GF Plat version number. Then again, I suspect that if there weren't a match there, the SS wouldn't work.
Also, we'll need info as to what you're running it on (iMac, powerbook, etc.) including specs for your hard drive, graphics setup etc..
Aside from that, the only other thing I would suggest is to check your screen W x H resolution and look for any discrepancy between your machine's current screen res and what you have for G-Force. They should match; and you can go into GF's Boot File to edit. I find if that if you run GF at a res higher than your system's, some slowdowns and other sorts of dorkiness will occur.
I hope this helps.
