G-Force Configuration only with Toolbar?

Post by Thilo »

Is it true that I can configure G-Force Visualizer (Platinum; for iTunes on WinXP in my case) ONLY with the monstrous toolbar? I had the demo version installed only for a few minutes and I'm pretty sure there was some on-screen configuration, ie with the visualizer (in iTunes) running I could press cursor-down (or some other key, I know it's cursor-down in the SoftSkies demo) to access all config menus.

Thanks for your help!

Does pressing "H" work?? It will show all the keyboard shortcuts.

I know it does in WMP.

yes it does. But those simple shortcur keys are not the same as the sophisticated on-screen configuration as provided in SoftSkies.

G-Force does not have the same configuration as softskies.

It would be nice, though.

Thanks for the clarification. Would be a great feature, though. The toolbar is by far too technical. Too small typefaces, too many options, non-standard UI (I absolutely hate all those themes on media programs). SoftSkies is so much better for casual configuration.

Thanks for the feedback.

We do indeed plan to bring the on-screen menu that was created for softskies into a future release of G-Force. It'll probably be part of our next major G-Force release and it will most likely follow a few other projects that are in the works (an updated WhiteCap, Darkroom, etc.).
