Video support in G-Force

Hi,
I'm having trouble getting any videos to appear in GF. Got foreground and background pics and scripts working OK though. I've got the latest free Quicktime for Windows installed, but nothing happens when vids are placed in Sprites folders. Are there any tricks to getting videos going, for instance do you need the full registered Quicktime?
