Getting G-force in my car?

Post by Sooner316 »

Hello, can anybody tell me a way to get G-force to on a monitor in my car? I'm assuming i would need a laptop in my car, but i would rather have a screen permanently installed and have Gforce playing to my music. Has anybody integrated G-force to their car, if so how did you do it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

you need a "car-puter" for that!
I saw one recently that just instals in the radio dock (can't find the linlk anymore, sorry)
some others can be fixed in the boot or glove compartment
example: Sumicom S625C, VIA VoomPC...

Hey maybe Andy could make us a "G-Force box", with minimum hardware and software to run G-Force for TV output

carputers

Howdy.
I have had a carputer in my cab for 8 months. Actually, I set up the whole thing with G-Force in mind. I told the story in a previous post: http://forums.soundspectrum.com/viewtop ... highlight=

Tell me how to attach a pic to this forum and I will show you, but basically the cheapest set up is to mount (temp. or perm.) the monitor (usu. 7 or 8" touch-screen) on the dash, and power the car-pc unit (see my website www.bostoncarputer.com or www.mp3car.com) with a dc/dc adapter.

(It's nice to have 5000 songs of your liking at your disposal in the car, too!)

Feel free to call or e-mail me if you have questions.

G-Force on portable device

Post by Linvincible »

Hello,

has anyone tried G-Force on a windows-based pda?
If some have a screen out then it could be an alternative to carputer

some recent gaming consoles look quite good as well
question to Andy or Soundspectrum members: would you be interested in compiling G-force for those platforms? (PSP, DS and so on)

or linux?

we could even have it on the ipod, with ipodlinux
I wonder what the perf would be...
