Hello everybody,

do you think it would be nice to have a G-Forced dynamic desktop background image?

There are--at least for the Macs--apps that can use a screensaver for the desktop image (I use something called SaverLab); so it would be easier to just go that route perhaps rather than using Darkroom and spending more time than you need to just to generate a QT movie for the purpose mentioned earlier.

Granted having GF running on real-time in that particular way won't be everyone's keg of brew (distraction issues et al.); but having tried it myself, it does look sweet.

I don't know technically if this can be done...easily at least.

I know DirectX based stuff does this (MilkDrop, etc) but through proding and playing the OpenGL graphics remains elusive.

If it did become possible, you could route a signal that sends when the left mouse button is clicked to make the EQ bar fluctuate. That would be even more distracting!
