Stop Errors?

Post by mjones8727 »

Hi I installed G-Force a few weeks ago, (and I love it) - but now I am having some serious stop errors in XPMCE. I have a Sony VGC RB38G - pentium 4 with 1GB Ram. I wondered if maybe on the installation of G-Force my video drivers were changed, because once I finally do get started - from the crashes - the only thing I notice is my task bar and my internet explorer windows have very different colors than I've ever had before. Any thoughts?

GForce would not havbe changed your video drivers.

What blue screen/stop error is being shown?

It will be in form:

Stop: 0x0000000A* (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4) IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL* Address x has base at x - filename

* example error code/message

If it disappers too quick then change the from a Small memory dump to a bigger Kernel memory dump giving you more time to read it.

Configure the dump type
To configure startup and recovery options to use the small memory dump file, follow these steps.

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click System.
3. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Settings under Startup and Recovery.
4. In the Write debugging information list, click Small memory dump (64k).
