hesitates when switching flow fields

I'm running xp home on an amd 3500 with 512k ram and 128k video. When I switch flow fields from the vbar either stand-alone or with wmp there is a very brief pause. What do you suggest I try to eliminate this? thx

Are you talking about when manualy switching flowfields?

If so there is a solution.

Any recently (a version or so ago) added "Smooth Manual Flowfield Switching" on a request from me actually. And that is in "Visualization Preferences" in the VBar
