gots a system tweak that may help!!

Post by james hurley »

this is for the XP OS. (not to sure about 2000.) click the start button,go to my computer, right click, go to system propertys. When the menu pops up click the advanced tab. Once there click button marked settings in the preformance section. once this display pops up (boy this seems a bit long winded !!) click the tab marked advanced. once there go to the section marked vertual memory click the change button once you do that you will see the page file size for this drive section displays two sets of numbers. one is the size of the page file at that moment. the other is the maximum size of the page file. If you change the current size to match the Maximum size you will see some improvement in the speed and visual quality of G-Force as well as some other visualy heavy programs. this tweak stops your system from making a compleatly new page file every time the size increases thus eliminateing the bottleneck that happens from the increase. Hope this helps someone!!!
