New Project Update

Hello All

Towards the back end of 2024 Andy posted some info about a brand new project he is working on. He has provided some updated info which he wanted me to share with you all.

Still on track for the new project just been slow going working on the new 3D based UI. Good news is that it's turned a corner and coming along. For example, I'm going with this spherical list, controller, which means that selecting visuals, selecting from menus, and built-in maps all use this 3-D spherical hexagon tiling system.

I currently have stable builds on Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, and Linux and so now it's all about getting this UI to look slick, along with some other audio reactive shaders. importantly, this app will be a de facto replacement for something like VLC or Windows media player, etc -- will also be providing audio reactive visuals to video playback. crazy right!?

Hello BTT,

I have a couple of questions regarding the music player part of the App you're developing.

I assume this App has a music player if it can replace Windows Media Player.

is it a "Bit-Perfect" player like Jriver?

Could we still choose to use a player other than what's included in the App?

Just to be clear I am not involved with the new project in any way, it's Andy's baby.

I asked the same question on the forum back in September 2024 with no clear response. I am concerned this may be a mobile phone app only which will definitely not be to my my liking. I would want to use a media player of my choice and not be forced to be connected to the internet whilst listening to my music and watching G-Force.
