*UPDATE* G-Force news!
Hey BTT, juxtiphi, and all the other G-Force jocks, I wanted to share the news here FIRST with y'all -
This week I am entering the home stretch of attempting to port G-Force to a library that I can run from inside Unity 3D. This means that we'd have G-Force all kinds of platforms, including Android and XR headsets such as VisionPro! Combine this with the tenets of Tunr, and you can figure out where things are going.
I can't say for certain we're clear until I get past a few more hurdles but I wanted to offer a heads up and will shoutout here in 1-2 weeks when I know for sure.

Re: G-Force news!
Sounds really interesting! I'm getting into G-force all over again!!
Re: G-Force news!
Thanks, Andy! I appreciate the exciting new knowledge. (and the short video!) However, I haven't the money to upgrade now. I believe one of my many Ultimate upgrades occurred and a full year passed without any updates during that year, FWIW... but that's in the past, and an update (not the current one) occurred during the following year (still not the freshest or its immediate predecessor, though I updated as was typical for me back then). All water under the bridge by this point, probably.
I wish you the best and hope I can contribute in the future.
I'm still a fervent admirer of music made visual using G-Force!

It's still my favorite visualizer!
I used a tileable image made from a G-Force SS as my GUI background for years.

Re: G-Force news!
I hope we get some changes in the coding of some configs in the future. I'm wishing some functions for waveshape reactivity delay, separated left and right channels and being able to use the dynamic functions in flowfields like t and bass.

Re: G-Force news!
Appreciate the kind words and suggestions gentlemen!
In case it's not been clear, I couldn't be in more favor of getting fun vis tools into your hands which is one of the reasons this path ahead is looking exciting. The block has been ability to support this business while I've worked on this new tech for the last 6 years (not exaggerating). This move into being our own 3D / VLC of sorts will do a lot. Keep in mind that the entire world of shaders in Unity (HLSL) will be at your fingertips.
The block now is to financially survive a few more months until this new cross-platform app can stabilize and provide enough to be able to have more than just my two paws working on all this. Not as much as a complaint as much as a prayer for more support to arrive.
This technical here and there but it offers a picture of things, especially the "Next Generation" section.

The fast path was right under my nose: basically make Tunr on steroids in a 3D engine, unlocking things visually while making sure every platform can be supported. There's more but keen observers can put everything together to see the broader arc and the vision operating here.
I think we can all agree we're not interested in proprietary software that only benefits corporate titans. Software that never seems to circle back to support humans or the average artist. How many crypto project and influencers have we seen now that are basically only interested in enriching themselves.
Instead we get more 3D games and gambling to addict children, data lock-in schemes, moral hazard, triple digit billions sent abroad for weapons and killing, an encumbered legal process that only serves the well-off, hackable voting systems, and "defense" software companies that sell to the DoD all day but don't offer that same tech for civil planning and disaster relief.

Re: *UPDATE* G-Force news!
Hello Andy
If your new project is going to be based on Tunr does this mean all music will be streaming only, and not from tracks saved on our PC's?

Re: *UPDATE* G-Force news!
Good Question, I do not use any steaming service. I have tons of music on my pc though. would be shame if I couldn't enjoy the new Stuff
Re: *UPDATE* G-Force news!
Personal file and media servers are a primary use case (I don't beat that drum much because it makes people think it's *just* for that use case). As you see in that linked readme, use cases abound and links to personal server based assets are just the first step. People look like I have two heads when I talk about an AV player that is multi-capable. We're in an age where snake oil is the norm and people think I'm some rando spouting hopes and dreams. They don't believe me when I'm like, yeah, this is shipping before long and I know the PERFECT crowd who gets it!
Love ya and thanks for all your support juxtiphi and BTT! You and others here will be the perfect folks to show others what can be done. JRiver Media Player and other media solutions (Plex) are amazing... but they're also 2D, not (really) mobile friendly, and dont also include integrated messaging and channels. I haven't shared this before, but by the Spring, this forum will be moved over into the new ecosystem and we'll be using that. That means we'll be communicating while you have music playing from Spotify, podcasts, or a media server while G-Force or a other new visuals run as wall-paper background.
Re: *UPDATE* G-Force news!
Kills me to never have enough time to be here with y'all but that changes as we transform and expand the SS ecosystem.

Just submitted a support ticket rather than post on here.
