foreground sprite sizing

G-Force seems to be randomly making some of my foreground sprites smaller. Should this be happening and can I make it stop? I just want them to be shown at the correct size. (I am running G-Force 2..-Carol

Tough question. Are the sprites larger than the screen? How many appear to be smaller than they should? Could you possibly have thumbnails included with them? Are they from a web site? Maybe you have an image saved and then did 'click for larger image' and saved from there?

I have 2.0 running on my older computer, if you want to send in an image or two that you suspect of the problem and I will try them on my 2.0....

How about upgrading to 3.0? There are so many more waves, flows etc. it is worth it. Not to mention the FlowField Unions.

I took the sprites directly from the backround folder and put them in the foreground folder, so I know they started out the same size. G-Force makes some of them smaller than screen size, but I'm not sure that it always changes the same ones-it seems to do it randomly. I usually make my sprites screen-size with something in the middle and a black backround (which is the mask) so that the object (lightbulb or whatever) appears in the middle of the screen and G-Force stuff happens behind it. My backround sprites always stay full-size-Maybe G-Force thinks that a screen-size sprite will cover everything else, so it makes it smaller? (Just guessing.) I'm hoping there's some little thing I can change in the prefs to make my foreground sprites not shrink! Thanks for any help anybody can give me-Carol

PS-Is 3.0 good with OS 9.2? Somehow I thought it was only for X (which I can't do cause my poor old computer is already so slow that I think X would stop it entirely!) I did download the newest G-Force so I could use all the new configs, but I can't seem to mount the disc image (I only have Disc Copy 6.5. Do you have any idea what I could use to open that?-Carol
