Bummer-no more support for OS9.2

Post by cysworld »

How disapointing-I guess I'm the only G-Force/Mac person still using OS 9.2. I went to upgrade to G-Force 3.1 and found out it is for OSX users only. I still have 7 months to go on my upgrades. My poor old flower power Imac is already so slow, I just can't see adding OSX-it would probably stop altogether.

It wasn't a decision I liked, but it had to be done, unfortunately. It's just too tough to make the codebase span that far and still be able to QA everything. If you like, you can d/l the latest version of G-Force and use the ColorMaps, WaveShapes, and FlowFields folders in place of your G-Force 2.8.1 folders--just replace them.

I can understand that. Maybe one of these days I'll win the Lotto and finally be able to afford a new computer! Anyway-I did download the new G-Force, but I can't expand it. I have DiscCopy 6.5-what do I need to expand it?-Carol
