press S to switch to next scene turns on shuffle in Winamp
pretty self-explanatory; pressing S to switch to the next scene in Aeon 3.4 turns on shuffle in Winamp, albeit randomly... there doesn't seem to be a way to disable this shortcut key in Winamp... any ideas on how to fix it?
FYI - a similar issue has crept into GF around ~v4.3 with WinAmp; Lowercase('L'), used to 'L'ist the current running Configs. It is ALSO passed to WinAmp, which interprets it as an 'Open File' box dialog.
I reported this a couple of times, but it still remains on GF5, so I ASSume that the same piece of code is shared with Aeon.
Oh yeah, "I" don't know of any fix.

(sorry for hijacking your original post, but if they address YOUR concern, maybe they can have a look see at other potential manifestations of the same basic problem)

G'day all,
This is for BTT and Jerohm (and all others regarding the UI - User Interface hotkeys),
L - for listing current configs is no longer used in SS visualizers.
R - for frame rate is no longer used independently either.
Shift and D is the new 'Debug" hotkey which enables access to view both live as it happens!
If you have been tracking beta version descriptions, you both may have noticed that the 'L' hotkey listing current configs, along with the 'R' formerly used to display just the frame rate,
have now migrated into a debug mode ("SHIFT + D") which gives much more scene config detail on the fly and faster FPS tracking, accessible in Full Debug Mode (Shift + D cycles Partial Debug, Full Debug and Disables Debug)
Thanks from Alf in Australia

I too use Winamp with GF and experience the same problem with the lowercase 'l' as mentioned above. I too reported this to SS, but the problem remains.
Hello ozbeats
I am aware that pressing the 'R' key for FPS has been deactivated as I am that pressing 'Shift D' now activates the Verbose mode. However, using Winamp with G-Force pressing the 'L' key shows in the top left corner of the screen the ColorMap, WaveShape, FlowField, Particle and Sprites that are currently being used by G-Force AND communicates with Winamp to 'Open Files'. Same thing applies to Aeon.
Regards BTT

Hey guys,
I submitted a bug report, but I believe this is a known issue.
I'm by no means a Winamp expert. I can't speak to re-configuring their hotkeys natively, but I do know from a quick google search that there are quite a few Winamp plug-ins that allow you to do just that.
I'll discuss this with Andy, but I have a feeling that we may have to let it go. We have plug-ins across so many players, and we have so many ways to customize your G-Force experience, that it is inevitable that some keys will be overloaded. But, we'll try to not let that happen.

FYI, the Keyboard Help (you know, when you press"H") needs to be updated to reflect these changes.ozbeats wrote:G'day all,
