I am another unhappy paying customer. I feel that Soundspectrum is so eager to manipulate paying customers into paying again as soon as possible that they are quite unfair in their withholding of downloads of the product as soon as the 1 year licence expires. This is not normal. Most software venders will always allow download of the major version that was purchased. For a yearly licence fee the renewal prices are too high. It is the only software I have purchased that requires yearly renewal, and it is basically luxury software. Yes it's the best visualizer on the market. Do I need it, or will the free one in iTunes do just fine?
I'm also annoyed because it seems that it cannot be used from other accounts on the same Mac computer.
I don't know about Windows. It seems I never got around to downloading it for Windows, and now I couldn't even if I wanted to!
Under the circumstances a notice should be sent to remind customers to download the latest version while they still can.
Can't download already! Not there for other accounts?

It's mentioned that you should backup the .exe file that way you always have it and don't need to re-download it unless its to get a newer version. Would be nice if they kept one version back on site but still for 30$ its the most badass piece of artwork I ever bought. In fact its the best piece of art I have ever purchased

I used to have every G-Force version in a folder on my hard drive, I still have a bunch but they dont go all the way back to the beginning any more.
It makes sense to save them just in case

I totally agree and am rather irritated at these issues. So if I understand, the fee we paid for Platinum allow only one year of use? On my system it seems to have disabled itself. I launch and it tells me it is not in the support folder. When I tried to redownload to reinstall I am denied the download link. I get not allowing me to upgrade unless it is renewed but to deny reinstallation of the same Platinum version one is absurd. I have paid for upgrades multiple times over the years and this time it expired because your notices end up in the spam folder. I had to create a new user account but now it won't work for that account? This seems to be the only piece of software I can think of that does not work on all accounts on a Mac.

Hi Flufinstuf
You can use your platinum version for the rest of your life, there are no time limits on the program. I am not a mac user but in Windows there is an option to install a program for all users or just one. If G-force isnt working its not because a time limit has been reached.
About your email, there is nothing Soundspectrum can do if their notices end up in your spam box, its up to you to make sure that any further notices are marked as not being spam so that they can be sent to your inbox.
Also , There is no guarantee that any updates will even happen. All updates are free for a year, that means if they put our 17 updates you get them all but if theres only one then thats all there is to it.
To my (limited) knowledge Soundspectrum isnt holding anything back when it comes to updates. Sometimes there just arent that many.
Soundspectrum products are as you say a luxury product amd maybe 30 bucks a years is a bit steep but they do offer a grace period where you can renew for only 15 bucks which isnt to bad.
If I were you I would contact support and tell them whats going on. If your issues arent resolved you can always ask for your money back.
