Ability to customize album art and track/album text display

Post by kewe65 »

I'd like the ability to be able to configure/select the file tag info that is displayed to include not only standard elements, but also user-defined elements that i've created in the player software. (in my case, this is JRiver Media Center).

And since that software allows you to choose storing art in the folder with the music files, it would be great to have G-Force rotate the images in only the album folder of the music playing, then switch to the images of the next album..

Also, would like to be able to configure size and position of the art when the option to display it is selected.

Super slick would be able to layer G-Force visualizations so that there's visualizations occurring to the art as well as to the background behind it.

Thanks!

This would be great!!

Even if we could set the info from a config file it Soundspectrum are unwilling to add extra options to the toolbar

The current version of G-Force (4.4) will be the last version to have the G-Force Toolbar. The next version of G-Force, version 5.0 will have the same GUI as Aeon.

Thanks BTT

I haven't seen the Aeon Gui, will have to check it out cheers. Is there any release date planned for V 5.0?

Do you think this could be a possibility with a config file? Or is it a bit too far fetched?

Hello brian00001

Ref G-Force version 5.0, no release date at this time.

Config file, this needs to be answered by our config expert jerohm, no doubt when he views this post he will offer his advice.

Would like to know your opinion of the Aeon GUI.

Regards BTT
