I also have one problem which I have sent an email to them about.
That is the V-bar and Toolbar are not accessible via the right click on window for me. The other options are there though like change audio source ect just not those 2. Apart from that major problem it runs fine.
Hope this is fixed soon for the final later this month.
System Specs.
Windows 7 x64
Core i7 Quad 3.5ghz
16gb Ram
EVGA GTX 670
Motherboard SaberTooth Z77
Loving the new scenes though lots of great ones. Looking fantastic on my 70inch LED.

Enjoy the Toolbar as it will be no more when G-Force version 5 is released. SoundSpectrum have decided to give G-Force the same GUI as Aeon.

Ah well that would explain why the toolbar is already no more at least in the b2 version.
I am very happy to hear they are putting the same UI as AEON and WhiteCap.
So looking forward to the 5.0 final.
not exactly true. The toolbar still exists and works (for the most part) with 32bit GF versions... you just have to start it up manually the first time. You can set Toolbar Preferences for auto start/close after that...DireWolf wrote: Ah well that would explain why the toolbar is already no more at least in the b2 version.
(the 64bit version get linked to Startup on 64bit Win7s... you need to change that to 32bit version if you want to use the Toolbar)
Some anomalies that I HAVE discovered, is that no matter which Waveshape, Flowfield, ColorMaps are Enabled, upon first starting up, GF does pretty much whatever it wants, the first go around. You will notice Flowfield '(Empty)' is no longer available... or needed... just DISABLE all of the other Flowfields (and select Next->Flowfield). There is a mapping problem with Particles that can be seen if you only have a specific subset of them enabled. Upon random Particle startup, it chooses the WRONG ones. If you have 5 enabled, you do however only have 5 random possibilities... just NOT the ones YOU enabled!!
Bouncing between WinAmp and the Standalone version, OCCASIONALLY, I have encountered some very nasty GPU driver issues upon GF startup... maybe one out of ten times. My laptop has switchable graphics, Intel HD4000 and Radeon 7850m... I BELIEVE GF runs smoothest on WinAmp, using the internal HD4000 graphics, even though the 7850m is the 'high performance' engine?!? ... BUT this was ALSO TRUE on my previous Sandy Bridge and earlier 4.x versions of GF.
Load seems to be nicely balanced over real (non-threaded) multiple cores.
That is the thing with random generators. I have noticed that with anything you can imagine that generates any kind of random anything. I have seen itunes or winamp or my ipod on shuffle do similar things. Even my desktop wallpaper cycling, Occasionally the same ones will appear in the same day even though I have over 2000. Random is random so that can and will happen.juxtiphi wrote:I noticed that the same configs seemd to keep popping up again and again most notably the round sphere that moves out of the background to the foreground. saw it 4 times in just a few minutes. kinda weird.
Some apps like winamp have added a feature so that you can set how often the same song will appear or not appear until every song is played but doing that makes it not exactly random anymore. It's kind of a double edged sword no matter how they decide to do it. The way it is set in AEON,G-Force and White cap now will produce the most combinations possible but you might get repeats sometimes. A small price to pay to have more total combinations possible. It's made more complex because its not choosing just one thing its choosing a few things like the color maps and waveform and background.
@BTT noticed the toolbar start when I started the standalone. I won't miss it one bit though having the same interface as the others will be a improvement.
