Hello teke978

These are the features available to you if you purchase a commercial licence:-

Professional Versions (Commercial License)
A commercial license can enable you to use Aeon, G-Force, SoftSkies, and/or WhiteCap in venues such as night-clubs, music/concert events, VJ events, video recordings, or in public performances and exhibitions. Commercial use or public display of our software products is strictly prohibited without obtaining a commercial license from SoundSpectrum. To inquire about a commercial license, please contact us.

Added Features

G-Force Professional gives you access to special commands that add "on the fly" text and graphics, allowing you to add text and images to the screen for all to see.

•display your company logo, brand name, product images, venue information
•show messages to your patrons or audience
•script visuals to change with specific events at your venue
G-Force Professional lets you control G-Force running on one machine from another machine over the network.

•run G-Force on a powerful machine in the "back room" and control it from a wireless laptop
•control multiple instances of G-Force running on several machines from one central place
To ensure your commercial needs are met, SoundSpectrum support will help show you how to use these features.

thanks for the info, but I don't have, need, or want a commercial license...just using it on my iMac when I play iTunes...the earlier post by a site admin didn't include the qualification that customization would only be available with a commercial license, and the info in the support pages also didn't make that distinction, so I thought customizing was available to all users...guess I was wrong :(

thanks, again.

The ones that come to mind are Image (foreground) overlays and using the control toolbar over a network (i.e. not running on the same machine as the copy of GF). There may be others.

thanks for the reply...by "commercial" license, do you mean the paid version of G-Force or is there another version just for professionals? just wondering because in an earlier posting, a site admin seemed like he was saying this could be done but he didn't mention if it was only in the paid version...

thanks, again, for the reply.
If you plan to use G-force in a public place or performance you need a "commercial" licence that gives you the right to do so. Like usung G-force as the vis for a club or concert.

the regular licence "the one you purchased" is for personal use not commercial.

no you are not wrong, G-force is very customizable. There's just a difference between regular and professional options.

Hello teke978

The bottom line is to be able to do what you want with G-Force the only way you can do it is with a commercial license. If you are not prepared to buy a commercial licence then you are not able to do what you want.
