Are there any plans to implement the GUI used in Aeon/WhiteCap into G-Force? Yes, there's the toolbar, but personally I find the embedded controls in the others much more seamless...
To the best of my knowledge G-Force will remain as it is. There is a new version of Aeon due for release shortly that (in Andy's words) "will have some awesome features", but your gonna have to wait a little while.
I love Aeon.
