Global Preferences.txt file and the nOGL flag

Post by paulbrown83 »

Our newly upgraded version of G-Force runs choppy. We formerly fixed this problem by opening the Global Preferences.txt. If I added nORL = 1 to that file, it disabled OpenGL, and things ran very smoothly after I made this change.

I cannot find this preferences file in the new installation. How do I fix the choppiness in the new version of G-Force?

Win7:
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\SoundSpectrum\G-Force\

XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\SoundSpectrum\G-Force\

Apple:
???

I have no idea whether your old solution still works, but I suspect it might, however I did find these two references:

Code: Select all

Graphics.OpenGL.Disabled = 0
Graphics.OpenGL.PreferVertexShaderProcessing = 0
(Next time, it would probably be best to specify your OS :wink: )
