Hello MiguelCuello

I have Platinum versions of both G-Force and, Aeon. In my opinion G-Force is a fascinating program with plenty of action, color and, it responds well to audio. Aeon, on the other hand, I find dull, boring and, it has little or no response to audio.

To all Aeon fans, sorry, but the poster asked:- What has been your experience?

BTT,

I appreciate your honesty - have you seen the latest version (1.1.1)? We have been adding content that we feel is much more interesting and audio reactive than some of the original stuff. Most of the new scenes are in the updated trial version of Aeon.

Hello Mike

I know you are the programmer behind Aeon and, it was not my intention to make this a personal issue or cause any offence either to yourself, Andy, or to those that love Aeon. I was simply giving my honest opinion to a question asked by a member of the Forum.

I realise that G-Force and, Aeon are completely different projects, and that some people may like both while others may have a preference for one or the other.

In answer to your question, yes, I do have the latest version (1.1.1) and, I have of course noticed the additions to the program. I am also pleased you have included nine of my ColorMaps.

Regards BTT

My Initial Reaction

Let me start with telling you I have owned GF for more than a year, and feel it is the best visualizer I've ever seen.

I have just downloaded the trial version of Aeon, and I can see right away, that this is a very different type of entertainment.

I love how geometric it is. I also like that it's more subtle, and subdued.
This will appeal to some GF fans, but the majority of it's audience, will more than likely be people looking for something different than GF.

I guess this can be best described as, comparing a great action movie, to a great drama. Neither is better or worse, just suited to different tastes.

I can already tell, I will buy Aeon. There are moods and music to fit these visuals to a "T"

All in all, fantastic job on Aeon - top ratings from me
