I just recently upgraded to the latest version of Whitecap (5/22/08), and when running the visualizations in Windows Media Player, the lines seem considerably larger than the previous version I had been running (installed roughly 3/08). I have tried cutting down the size of the Viz via the Whitecap control panel, but that doesn't help as it just scales the Viz down proportionally. With the lines so large, the quality of the visualization is considerably diminished. Is there any way I can get the lines down to there smaller (1-2px) width?
System Configuration:
Windows XP Pro 32 SP3
EVGA nVidia GeForce 9600 GT 512MB
Resolution: 1680 x 1050
Using Windows Media Player 11
Whitecap visualization gridlines much larger

Just had mine installed on Mac, had the same problem initially. What I had done was to change the view size option settings on the Media player to medium or small (and to set the resolution in the Whitecap at the max resolution) and then drag the frame of the player to suit the your requirement. So look into the settings in the Media Playr and not in the Whitecap first. Hope that helps.

The initial problem may be your screen resolution - barring that do this:
Go into the config file for the Waveshape where you want to have thinner lines - you can find the config files in:
C:\Program Files\SoundSpectrum\WhiteCap\Home\WaveShapes
Each waveshape has it's own config file in a .txt format - it will open with Notepad for editing.
Look for the variable W, it should be on a line by itself and read something like: W=".8"
The .8 is your line width as set in that file, change that to a lower number, save the file then reinitiate the Waveshape in Whitecap - you'll see the difference in the line widths.
For your own comfort you may want to save the original config file in a different folder in case you want to be able to go back to 'default' settings later.
