What are the settings for this effect? (Glowing bars)

Post by Fraggie »

There is one setting in G-Force i just love. Unfortunately i always forget to look which waveshape and stuff it is.. :(

Maybe someone can point it out when i explain how it looks..

Look: Four thin glowing bars which moves from a point to each side of the screen almost making it look like something is illuminating a black screen from behind the glass at the sides, which looks kinda "frosty".

The colors doesnt really matter.. that i can alter, but the rest is so hard to find..

Does anyone know what im talking about? :D

Edit: Skilled picture showing the illumination part..

hmmm...maybe it's Border Thunder?
Do you mean that the signal noise causes the lines to come together at a middle point ?
Try using the toolbar to get a screenshot of the aforementioned wave in action.

Also, the "frostiness" you see is most certainly the flowfield in action. Thing is there are just too many figure out which one it is you have in your pic. Plus, having the waveshapes relegated to the edges of the screen don't give a good indication.

Use the L key if you want instant info on all the effects on-screen at any given moment.

you can also use the tool bar to select individual configs by clicking them and the configs are all named so you can see which one you are choosing.

open the toolbar and look under waveshapes, colormaps and flowfileds for the list.
