Don't buy this junk
Don't buy this junk
I paid $20 for a gold membership and it only worked 2 months. Can't find any help on this site either.

yes there are "some" frustrated customers and a lot of those frustrations have been allayed. For most of us GF works just fine so calling it crap is a bit steep. Andy has proven time and time again that he is on the ball trying to make GF work for all players on all platforms. Think about the timing of your post, is it not feasible that some of the soundspectrum staff may be on a family vacation due to the christmas season?
I have been using GF since they first offerd it and when ever there was a problem Andy fixed it as soon as he could. Give them a chance to find out whats causing the problem and they will get back to you as soon as possible.

I will say this and no more:
'Tis better that I recuse myself from this sort of thing lest I succumb to the temptation of raising enough Cain to make blind coyotes wail at a new moon on a foggy Christmas Eve.
Meaning?
I'm willing to bend over backwards to help those with problems---particularly Macsters, as I have less than zero experience working the Windoze-side of SoundSpectrum applications. But in my experience with angst-driven complaints like these, I find that my eagerness to respond more often than not makes me take back about three quarters of what I post. I'm sure Andy, Key, Anton et al. don't need me, therefore, to defend their honor, or their collective right/obligation to keep up with a breakneck schedule.
Indeed, I *can* only do so much. I appreciate my fellow Mod Squad members who have more patience than I've sometimes demonstrated.

Senior Mod (aka Me) Says...
I'm keeping this thread open against my better judgment so as not to give the impression of stifling anyone's voice.
That said, cooler tempers and constructive dialogue are deeply appreciated from here on in.
Enthusiasm from staunch supporters and patience from users seeking help are equally valuable; but when these two groups start butting heads, it can only make things uncomfortable for poster, lurker, moderator and SoundSpectrum employee alike.
Thank you.

Right on. I can understand the frustration, but belittling people or a product gets us nowhere.
I have had problems with software on many occasions. But because of forums, I can sometimes get help from people who have had the same problems and found a solution. This software(G-Force) works on the majority of the computers that it's installed on. Sometimes, a person may have a computer that has something different that the software is not able to accept.
It's best to have patience. If patience does not work, ask for a refund.
Have a good one. And I happen to enjoy all of the products from Soundspectrum, as long as they work on my old PC, I am happy.

Figured it out for myself
Thanks for the help
Hi permanoob,
I'd be interested to hear if your problem has been resolved. I myself had a slight problem and the SoundSpectrum crew were able to give me a solution within a week. As such I definitely can't agree with you with regards to service.
Are you sure you opened up a support ticket?
Regards,
Pierre

If it doesn't work any more, it costs me 1 minute to reinstall it

Demeaning remarks...I HATE them! Period! :(
I may be a newbie to **THIS** post and forums group of exceptional guys. However, I have had the utmost privilege of using the number one, in my utmost honest opinion, probably since it came out!
BUT I HONESTLY AGREE THAT PRODUCT/COMPANY BASHING IS ABSOLUTE BULLSH*T WASTE OF TIME
I think it actually makes the BASH-OR LOOK a lot more STUPID than he or she actually is!
But, I am just a humble user looking for help and I stumbled upon this thread and could not RESIST responding to STUPID remarks that should have NOT BEEN SAID in the first place because, on their (bash-or's) part they forgot to ENGAGE BRAIN before ENGAGING their fingers on their keyboard!

Yeah, those who bash programs probably have issues with their computers.
It's easier to blame somebody else. If MOST do not have a problem, that means...................................................................................
Ok, it's the user's (or their computer's) fault the program does not work.
Although software makers CAN make updates to fix bugs that SOME have.
BTW, I am not a programmer, but a happy customer.
