G-force additional configs in MacOSX

Post by ebabeb »

How do I install the user-created extra configs etc. in MacOS. I've found some G-force folders but don't know which is used for what. Also do I just copy new scripts into these folders?

Thanks for any help

The user created configs are identified as either wave shapes, flow fields, flow field unions or color maps. There are corresponding folders in the G-force folder for each of these categories. Simply place the itmes in the correct place and launch your player application (iTunes, for example) and then you can try out the new entries with the toolbar. Perhaps you will want to remove some you don't like... but more than likely you'll spend a lot of time playing with all the possible combinations and become a total addict like we all have.

could you point me to the folders/places you mention. I am not able to findit anywhere.
does it mean too that you can not simply save the theme you make with toolbar.

In OSX, go to your user folder (Command-N) and open the Library folder. Then open the Application Support folder and look for the SoundSpectrum folder. Inside will be a G-Force folder which will contain the folders for the scripts, configs, documentation, etc.
