g-force standalone with itunes

Post by hat-rack »

I just bought gforce premium for the party we're having tonight ;)

I have itunes running on a dual display setup with the visuals in the second screen. It works great! Only problem is the visuals aren't moving with the music - the only options seem to be using the mic or line in inputs for the audio.

How can I make it move to ANY sound being played on the computer?

Thanks!

Itunes and Standalone G-Force

... hi, I too am having this problem. Works ok from within ITunes, but would be great to have standalone on one screen and still being able to control ITunes from the other.

I hate Itunes so I dont use it but try this,

start GF in windowed mode and right click the screen you should see options for your soundcard for GF to listen too. The Plugin version should say itunes. the stand alone version will show all the options your soundcard has for GF to listen to.

also try using the slider in the toolbar on the bottom right it increases the way GF reacts to the music

hello - thanks for the reply, it doesn't have the playback device I'm using as an option just the Digital out. I have managed to work around the problem though by installing MediaMonkey. It seems every bit as good if not better than I-Tunes...
