Post by rorywilcox »

I am noticing a little slow down on some of the more intense visuals. I'll pass this on. For now, you can avoid it, by finding the visuals that run slowly and removing them from your active categories. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

Hello rorywilcox

I will not make any recommendations, however in my opinion you do need to up your specs. There are some on the forum who could advise you much better than I can.

That processor is OK, but you would be wise to have 4Gb of memory, and to get the best out of Aeon I would get yourself a new graphics card with 1MB of memory. That would be close to my specs, and Aeon runs sweet as a nut.

Hello rorywilcox

The graphics card I am using is NVIDEA GeForce 9800GT with 1GB Memory. Don't know about the audio, mine is Realtek High Definition which comes with the motherboard, maybe you will need a decent sound card as well. I am getting really good at spending your money.

My motherboard is high def audio as well. if I use a separate GPU it would have to be either VGA or DVI to VGA but then I would loose the HI-DEF picture output

Hello rorywilcox

I am not a techie sort of person, I have a guy who custom builds my computers. I tell him what I want he builds it. There are forum members who can give you the help you want, but I think I have gone as far as I can.
