i'm quite disappointed...

i just installed a Radeon 9600XT 256MB vid card which replaced a GeForce4 MX 440 64MB vid card, but i'm getting the same framerates in G-Force as b4... maybe just a couple more FPS. what's wrong?

I'm not an expert, but I believe G-Force is CPU driven not GPU driven. Future versions are going to moved from the CPU to the graphics cards, but as of now your CPU is drawing the screen.

well if you hold out till version three you may not need a new processor
