Possible to edit bitmaps?

Post by blue-ember »

I'm enjoying Aeon a lot– but I'd love to be able to use my own bitmapped images (like in the Veins or Ethos scenes).

Is this possible? If so, where would those images be located (I'm on OS X)?

Sub-question: is it possible to force a scene like Floral Element to use a specific bitmap instead of a random one?

Thanks!

Hi,

Yes, it is possible to add your own images for most scenes.

For Veins, Floral Element, and (possibly) Ethos, you just need to add an image file in the appropriate directory ( preferably in .png format ).

On Mac, search for SoundSpectrum - in that folder, browse to Aeon/Home/Scenes/Veins - the folder 'Leaves' contains the display images. Scenes/Floral Element/Wall Patterns/ contains the images selected for Floral element, and the folders in Scenes/Ethos contain the sets of images used for that scene. In most scenes, you should save your images as grayscale, square image with the width/height being a power of two ( 256, 512, 1024, etc ).

Good luck!
