Live Visualizations with dj software

How do I use whitecap with a live dj software (i use djay)?

I'm dj at a big party this friday and I have a projector so I want to have visualizations of the mixes that I'm doing. I tried stand alone mode but the only input option I have is "microphone high def aud" and it doesn't work. Is there a way to input music directly from my program, djay?
