Standalone Input Problem

I need help getting the visualizations to work in Whitecap with VLC Media Player. When I play a song in VLC it doesn't affect the visualizations, the only Audio Input Sources I am able to use include: Sound Generator Fluid, Sound Generator High Energy, and Sound Generator Chill.

Also is it possible to play anything through Serator Itch and have it affect Whitecap visualizations?
