Hello petersago

Before I suggest contacting SoundSpectrum my colleague juxtiphi will probably be asking you a question or two. Let's see how things go on Tuesday.

Hi petersago

I dont have Realplayer installed in my comp, What version are you running? I'll install it and see what happens.

I see that Realplayer is now Realplayer Cloud. I do not have any idea what the date of this release is but it is possible that if you are running this newer version that G-force may not yet be compatible with it yet.

I Will give it a try and see.

EDIT

After installing Realplayer Cloud, G-force seems to work just fine.
G-force does take a bit to initiate but I don't see any probs after running it a couple times.

I have never been a fan of RealPlayer, Here is one reason, Right now it's running 4 separate processes hitting the memory for about 95,000K in memory. This could be part of the reason why it crashed on you.

Try this. Uninstall G-force, Search your comp for all Soundspectrum folders and Delete them all. restart your comp and then try installing G-force again.

Others have had similar stories and a clean re-install has helped with most if not all.

if that doesn't work and you still have a problem click the link below and open a support ticket with Soundspectrum. Have patience.

running vista 32 bit, Dont have cloud on accouny they want more money all be it 50% off. Its realplayer 16 plus, Not the free one. All the visualisazions stop the realplayer from working, as i try to get the visuals it stops working altogether and reverts back to blank screen and i have to start it again. Never had this problem before but i will try what has been said and delete all of g force from comp down;oad again.

lovw to know how to get round this problem as always on realplayer 16. re installed g force and worked well in media player and also in realplayer 16 when first used but closed realplayer and then opened it again and the same problem accured and i cant get any of the visuals of g force or any other that came with realplayer. It just shuts down when i try and i have to open it again. I can listen to the music but not the visuals. Remember that it is okay the first time but when closed and reopened for the 2nd time it does not work. That is what you experienced when you tested it but did you close it and then reopen to try again

I opened RP Cloud a few times and had no problems, ran G-force for a few minutes each time.
I dont install any pay versions of a player, there is no need to pay for any of the options they offer as the same options are free in many other players, so I cannot say what is happening in RP16plus. I will look for a free version of 16 and see what happens.

I just ran Realplayer version 16 released about 1 year ago and there is a bug related to stopping playback when G-force is running and then expecting the vis to restart when the music restarts. Once you restart the music none of the other vis work either. In order to get 'ALL' the visuals back you need to restart the program.

I think you're going to have to open the support ticket with FrankN.

that does not happen in mine, when you first start the visual after say 3 or 4 hours it works but when you change the music file then it just stops altogether and you have to restart. This happens every time from then on. You can listen to the music without the visuals but like i said as soon as you go to the vis then it shuts down.
Been in touch with realplayer and they will not entertain third party and the like so if i cannot get realplayer to work is there a way to run it without g-force in the program of vis and run it in media player. just a thought

Well we have confirmed there is a bug.

To answer your question, No.

I suggest getting a Platinum license. It comes with a standalone version that you can use while listening to any audio source.

I am not a fan of Realplayer or itunes if this happened to me I would simply change players.

I used to love the Sonique media player. They had some cool visuals like Cosmic Belt and rabbit Hole but it wont play any files typs other than WAV, MP3 and WMA which I do not use. As a flac file user 99% of my music is in flac format so its useless to Sonique which is the coolest looking player ever.

Hello petersago

Most forum members use Winamp as their media player, and it's FREE. Just type Winamp into Google.
