Windows 8.1

Post by FrankN »

Hello Everyone,

I hope everything's going well! I just wanted to let everyone know that, so far, all of the SoundSpectrum Visualizers appear to be compatible with Windows 8.1. If you are having trouble with installation, make sure that User Access Control and Windows Firewall are disabled. Then try again.

If you still are having trouble, or for any reason at all, feel free to contact us.

Hi BTT,

Yes, we've had a few users write in and ask about compatibility between the SoundSpectrum visualizers and Windows 8.1. So, I thought I'd put the information out in an easily Google-able place!

Hello Frank

Saw an interview with Steve Bullmer (CEO Microsoft), he was asked if it was true Microsoft had rented an Industrial storage facility covering over one acre in Europe which contained millions of unsold copies of Windows 8, followed by is it true you have been fired, and leave your post early 2014. Mr Bullmer walked off the studio set.

Yes, specifically G-Force is working for me on Windows 8.1.

I typically use the standalone version of G-Force, so I can't speak for media player integration or the other visualizers.

Performance issue

Post by Baldufa »

The same problems, like win 7.Low quality installing Aeon and G-force together. The best performance is installing one visualization.
j.river mediacenter and windows mediaplayer-win8 & win7 64 bits.

Your statement doensnt make sense, Installing more than one vis should be no problem unless you are trying to run both at the same time.

Hello Baldufa

You are able to install all SoundSpectrum programs on your computer one at a time. Once installed you only run one visualiser at a time.

Windows 8.1 upgrade caused G-Force to break

Post by NeilArmstrong »

Since I've upgraded to Windows 8.1, neither the 32 bit or 64 bit exe's are responding. When I attempt to view G-Force through Windows Media Player I get an error=30.
Going to reinstall and hopefully everything will be ok. Will let you know.
