Hi Guys
I'm a new player with G-Force. I've just downloaded the latest Platinum version and will be using it for an outdoor trance party setup where we'll be projecting onto two large 12ftx12ft screens.
Having had a look at all the various possibilities between WaveShape, Colour Maps and Flowfields- i'm a little daunted with the extremely wide range of options.
I've been working my way through the three lists- but just wanting to reach out to the heavy users to see if there're any good combinations i should be looking for?
Kind Regards
Recommendations for awesome combinations for TranceParties

Hi Giles
I have been using G-force since the beginning. For my money I have had many great experiences by just letting G-force do its thing on its own.
Somehow, there are times when G-force seems "intuitive" like it knows just what configs to show for the music that's playing. I have seen things come out of the screen that I couldn't believe.
But there are some tweaks to make in the toolbar or onscreen GUI.
I prefer the toolbar because I can control G-force from my monitor while watching it on my tv. that means I can hit the button and make changes on the fly if I see configs that don't seem to be really doing anything or matching the music. (a scant few don't seem to react that well).
I have my sliders on the tool bar set to just over half way for the flow fields waves shapes. I have the color maps at a slightly less than half way.
There are many images in the the sprites section. look at them all and uncheck the ones you may not like. (imho there are a few that just don't fit with all styles of music). I only have the space pics checked.
Make sure you don't set the frame rate too high for your comp and try different positions with the visual response slider to make sure the level of response to the music is not too much or too little.
If you set the visual response to high G-force will go nuts and you may not be able to "see" the music because there's so much going on onscreen
I hope you have a great experience.
