CTRL+SHIFT+NUMBER is supposed to save a preset to that number.
For a long time it worked fine, now it just gives "error writing script"
Is this ever going to be fixed ?
Is there another way to save a preset ?
error writing script ?

Hello ashenash
My advice to you is to click on the link below, select Support and, type in the problem you are experiencing. This links you direct to SoundSpectrum.
You should receive an automated e-mail with a Ticket No, then a few days later SoundSpectrum will contact you.
(Keep the Ticket No somewhere safe)

I don't have a solution, but I BELIEVE what the (XPro) issue is, is that it use to write the script to:
and NOW it is attempting to write to:
The pathnames are slightly different for Vista/Win7, but the idea is the same. This would allow user specific scripts (with the same name) to exist. The directories are there, so it is most likely a permission access issue. Preferences ARE stored there, and DO work correctly, so I assume it is something rather minor to fix.
Code: Select all
\Program Files\SoundSpectrum\G-Force\Scripts
Code: Select all
\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\SoundSpectrum\G-Force\Scripts
If you're using recent versions or the current version of G-Force, please note that we made a change to how scripts are saved and called. The change was brought about because iTunes 10 no longer allows plug-ins use of the "Ctrl" key. Though you may simply press "H" while within the G-Force window to see the new key combination, you can read the full instructions on the FAQ page:
