Please make sure windows media player is closed?

I've closed windows media player and checked the taskbar and made sure it wasnt enabled there, it's not. What else can I do so that i can install G-Force?

Did you try restarting your computer before trying to install G-force?

Temporarily turn off the WMP Toolbar (right-click your toolbar, go to "toolbars" and uncheck "Windows Media Player").

alright mate
did you resolve it cos I too cant load gold,soddin thing keeps tellin me to close wmp.Ive turned my laptop off twice already,its not checked on the taskbar,what else can I do.........
I'll go to bed n try it tomorrow,cheers

Is there anyone who cud help....I've upgraded to gold,it gets halfway thro then tells me to turn off wmp,its not on....?
I'm running on a Dell Inspiron 9100 laptop if that makes any differance,thanks in advance....

Hi there... is there any update on this w/ the current (GF3) installer? I've moved this thread to the bug reports forum, so please check it out and let me know any additional info you have so I can address this... Thanks!
