Bizarre Bug

I recently purchased G-Force Gold and have noticed a bizarre bug with iTunes 4.5 and my Powermac G5 dual 2Ghz.

At 640x480x32 (I need 32 bit to properly display album covers in full screen) I get FPS of 35 and load of about 25 ONLY when the album cover and title are shown on the screen. As soon as they vanish, the frame rate drops to 19-20 and the load INCREASES to 45 or so. Why would the load increase so much when album cover title vanishes? I can speed it back up by hitting 't' and redisplaying the cover, and it slows back down when the cover disappears again...

A related (and possibly the same) bug.G-Force is MUCH slower (factor of three) on my machine in fullscreen than it is in a window that is open to max size. I.e., in 1600x1200x32 huge window it runs at 35 FPS / load of 30-35. At 1600x1200x32 in fullscreen (letterboxed), it drops to 10-11 FPS.

By the way, I tried erasing the prefs and boot.txt file and regenerating them. The problems persist.

Please advise, as I would like to be able to run G-Force in 1600x1200x32 with album covers, full screen, at 30fps. Judging by the windowed performance / load, this should be possible on a 2G G5 with a Radeon 9800.
