New G-Force Community

Post by esoteric888 »

I have just opened up a g-force group at http://www.audioscrobbler.com/group/G-Force . You can check it out to see what music g-force watchers are listening to and you can join it to influence the charts and give the world a better idea for what kinda of music people who enjoy g-force enjoy. Please join! It's fast, easy, and fascinating to see the results.

I've gotten the chance to wrap my head around it; and you're right. It really gives an interesting insight as to what many G-Force users listen to. I don't claim to be a walking talking encyclopedia of music myself; but it's interesting to see how many groups I've never heard of are included in the mix. I would assume they run the gamut of en vogue genres.

right now, there's actually only three users contributing to the statistics (myself included). that's why I'd like more people to join and be aware of it. I't'd be really great and certainly useful and interesting if we could get an accurate representation of what g-force users are listening to. Thanks for checking it out!

So what is the point? Who does this benefit?

Everyone that enjoys g-force. Users can get ideas for music to listen to with g-force as some songs seem to work better than others. SoundSpectrum can use the information for marketing and the betterment of g-force... They could use it to see what their users are listening to as well as to incite inquiries about what makes certain music work "better" than others. Personally, I just find it fascinating.
