New g-force install won't run now--help!
Hi, I just installed this wonderful visualizer. I went t iTunes and selected it from the available menu, watched and enjoyed it for awhile, then went to a few of my other plug-ins to compare samples. When I came back to give it another go nothing happened. No error messages-- just nothing. What could I have done wrong? (didn't change any settings or customize anything) I have an iMac OS X panther version 10.3.6 currently. Is this just a one-time free "demo" version until I agree to the upgrade or what?

It should definitely run whether you have the trial version or not. There's no "expiration" as there is with some apps, especially in Windoze.
I've been having issues with the iTunes build for GF and I'm willing to bet that iTunes itself is the culprit. I'm not really sure whether it can handle the overhead: (i.e. preprocessing, compiling and overall flowfield computation) necessary to make GF work properly.
Most iTunes vis's are simple little jiggers that don't require much in the way of CPU activity. Many of these use Open GL, which GF doesn't use just yet (but it will, amongst other things).
If you have Classic running for any reason, try disabling it before rebooting iTunes and GF. It may not be the answer; but it's worth a try.

Back from trying to get g-force to work again
Just wanted to post a thank you to JayPro--yes I did have classic running in the background which seemed to cause the problem as now the visualizer works as it should. I would never have thought of that; also thanks especially for letting me know that the trial version does not expire. I really appreciate that and the fast response.

Thanks for the feedback. Just to be sure, I would also see if ther're any unnecessary OS X apps running in the background. Some of them, if they're big enough, will obviously detract from full performance, i.e. certain colormaps etc. might not work properly. I've had that happen to me.
Keep an eye out for performance issues in iTunes if you find any. I'd be interested to find out why they happen.
EDIT: Since most iTunes visualizers use OpenGL, whose addition to GF is for all intents the Numero Uno priority, it'll be especially important betwixt the then and the now to compare and contrast that particular iTunes build's performance. IOW, what things will OpenGL and Altivec have improved? Things like that, ya know...
