Question about Gold upgrading

Hey, I purchased Gold back in 2.68 and was experiencing the "burp" bug that you fixed in 2.7. I dug up my old confirmation email and password and all and downloaded it again and installed it. My problem's gone! I just wanted to inquire about whether people who purchase Gold are entitled to all future updates, future updates up to a point, or did I break the rules already
