Post by GermanFan »

I can´t make Screenshot because I don´t know wich button I have to press on my German Keyboard. Can you tell me?

Is G-force telling me when a Screenshot is done?

Is G-force asking me were I want to save the Screenshot-File?

I´m happy about every Help.

The back-quote (`) key is the one you press to get a screen shot.
Your picture will automatically appear on the desktop and is saved as a .bmp file. If you want you can then place it in your Sprites folder with any other pictures and photos you use with G-Force.
Ach!
I see that the German keyboard layout has the back-quote key located at a different position than the English arrangement. I'm not sure; but I would try two things:
1. Try presing the key directly to the left of the "1" key. This is where the back-quote key needed to make a picture shot is on the English keyboard.
2. If this doesn't work, find the back-quote key on your layout and press that one.
If you still have a problem, please post again and I'll try to get in touch with Andy so he can tell us what to do.
Viel Glück!

I'll put this question here:

why I'm getting error when trying to take screenshot?

After pressing the button, it "thinks" a while (<0.5s) and then echoes "Screenshot failed". Same goes if I right-click on screen and select "screenshot"

I use Winamp 5.0x (not sure if I already upgraded to 5.05) and I suppose the GF is 2.6.8.

It's not that bad taking screenshot with ctrl+printscreen, but I suppose it would be easier with the correct button.

Here's some which I took recently:

(If it's not working, then my ISP is down (again))
