Can't choose G-Force 2.6.7 as an engine uder SoundSpectrum

Post by ata »

After upgrading to G-Force v2.6.7 Gold, I can't choose it as an engine under SoundSpectrum Darkroom. I keep getting the error, "The specified library is not compatible or could not be opened." :( I can choose WhiteCap however and it seems to work fine. Any ideas my peeps?

Which OS are you running in? It runs fine for me in OS X Panther.

I'm having the same problem.
OSX.1.8, I think.
G-Force v 2.6.8
No Whitecap (yet).

Exactly what's the name of the file I should use at the "Choose Engine" thingy?

For it to work, you need to be using the most current versions of SSD and G-Force (1.3.4 and 2.6.8, respectively). WhiteCap is a different matter--until I get the new version posted, you can't use WhiteCap in SSD.

I neglected to be specific in that I was running OS 10.3.4 with a PPC G4. Also, I'm on an iMac; and I mentioned the processor I use because OS X users on different models and CPU's will invariably report different results.

Your GF build, though, seems up-to-date. All you'd have to do is choose GF 2.6.8 as your engine and you should be in business...until the next iteration of WC comes out, acourse. Just make sure you've got your OS as current as possible.
