Renew my license code G-force

Post by Silverino »

Hello,

Windows 8 kept on trying to update to 8.1, so I finally gave up and updated. Terrible mistake, internet issues galore, and reading all the "try this fix", went back to a working and sound Windows 8 on my Viao Laptop.

Had to re-install everything over again, even Adobe Premier CS6.
Ok, installed G-force again, and tried the Renew my license code and I get this.

The registered e-mail address and G-Force license code entered have been verified, however, your license code has been expired for an extended period of time. As a valued customer, we would like to provide you with the offer below to purchase a renewed G-Force license at a discount.

Are you fricking telling me I must pay again for the same program?!

Tell me I'm doing something wrong here. Tell me that I was suckered into buying, no leasing a program!

Thanks for any help.

Wow, so I didn't make a back up. Guess I should be happy that I don't have to pay Windows 8 again.

What a scam!

Lesson learned, don't buy software from a small business. Piratebay is the way to go then.

Thanks for the reply.

Hello Silverino

Just a thought, I don't suppose you have your existing licence code? If you do, and you backed up your copy of G-Force you are able to install that version, and use your existing licence code.

Which version of G-Force were you using.

Hi BTT

a quote from the page you linked too.

Once downloaded and installed on your computer, your copy of G-Force will never expire.

I think he is having trouble re-installing his paid for version.

Unless he downloaded a newer updated version off the net somewhere he should be able to re-install the one he paid for for ever.

Hello juxtiphi

As I understood from the original poster he probably did not keep a backup of the G-Force program. If he has then it will install using his current licence code.

Download the program again, installed it, played it, went into my email, copy and pasted the email and license to reactivate my paid software at G-force, but got the buy again with a discount, ......gee how sweet of them.

Not happy at all.

Again thanks for the replies.

Its all very clear now, I suspected this when I first read your post.

You didn't read or heed the very clear warning about saving a backup of the exe you paid for and now you feel you were scammed! C'mon man! its your own fault that you didn't follow the suggestions not theirs. Next, you mention pirate bay! No wonder your license code didn't work!.

Seeing how its impossible to download anything from the Soundspectrum website with an outdated license you went to pirate bay and found a newer exe and your code still didn't work and now you're mad. Oh well.

The only scam here is the one you played on yourself by not following or even reading the information that is clearly available to anyone who makes a purchase from SS.

You sound like a cop, they can write a ticket for anything, because there are so many codes that you didn't know you violated. You didn't go to law school, tisk tisk. I bought G-force, it's not pirated software. I also bought CS6, over $5,000 bucks. But both are available on Piratebay. Yes, like everyone else I have d/l music and movies.

But, this is the first software, that I didn't notice the fine print, about making a back up. Yes, ignorance is no excuse. But, still this business practice is not customer friendly.

I really can't think of anything else that compares to this.
So, anyway I will get what I paid for one way or another.

Again thanks for your reply.
Peace, out.

Silverino and I had an email exchange, and it turned out that he had a spare installer on his computer anyway!

Just so folks know, if you see a copy of our visualizers on TPB or other pirate sites, it is likely very outdated or a virus. Piracy was the reason that we've had to implement DRM measures in the first place. If you really don't want to pay for the software, you'll be much better off if you just download the free Trial versions from the front page of our website.

Thanks!
