Lag

Post by qwert6677 »

I'm using an electronic drum set to trigger G-Force in an attempt to make it more accurately sync to music. I'm just hooking out to in. Unfortunately, I have a 200 millisecond lag (at least).

I'm projecting to a big screen, but I get lag on a monitor too.

Computer:
Acer Intel i7-4770 3.4GHz Desktop PC - ATC-603-UR10

Processor Type:Intel
Processor Model: i7-4770
Processor Speed: 3.4GHz
System Memory (RAM): 32GB
Type of Memory (RAM): DDR3
Number of Memory Slots: 2
Memory Card Reader: Yes
Number of Hard Drives: 1
Hard Drive Capacity: 2TB
Hard Drive Interface: SATA/300
Optical Drive Type: DVD+RW
Graphics: Intel HD
Video Network Card: Integrated 10/100Mbps
Wireless Networking: Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n
USB Ports: 5
Operating System: Windows 8.1 64-bit

Ideas?
Thanks

In the early days a lag between the vis and the audio could be fixed by adjusting the buffer length. However I do not know if that still applies.
