G-Force Toolbar
All of a sudden the toolbar doesn't open anymore (all red - no green). Can anybody help? Thanks.
Hi Gregory,
I'll tell you what I usually tell customers when they have this problem. If it doesn't work, please reach me through our support ticket site (https://www.soundspectrum.com/support/contact.html).
This is almost always due to some kind of internet security, so I'm going to give you our "advanced" security walk-through. If you've done some of this before, I apologize but please stick with it and go through all the steps.
You should disable any firewall and anti-virus software you use prior to attempting installation again. You should also disable Windows Firewall and User Account Control (located in the "User Accounts" section of your Windows Control Panel). Then, you should bypass the internal firewall in your router. This may mean connecting your computer directly to your modem.
Then you should go to our website (and only our website!) to download and install G-Force. After installation, run G-Force and check to see if the toolbar has any troubles. Then, turn your security one step at a time, and see which part of your security is interrupting the toolbar. Let me know how it goes!
If you still have trouble, again, contact me through our support ticket site. Try to remember what changed before you encountered this issue? Did you change any of your OS or security settings? Did you install or uninstall anything? Please let me know.
Thanks for your support!

Disclaimer If you follow my suggestions below and something in your comp stops working, do not blame Soundspectrum. I do not work for them I just volunteer here to help with any probs I can.
I have posted about this many times and they all say the same thing, "I set my firewall to allow it but it still wont light up" and the culprit has always been the same. A program called Bonjour.
This program is installed silently with a lot of software including versions of windows and programs for windows. Its purpose is supposed to make it easier for programs to connect via TCP connection which is how the toolbar communicates to the G-force vis window. I believe its an unnecessary middleman. As the programs its supposed to help are already written to access via TCP connections.
For some unknown reason Bonjour stops the Toolbar in its tracks. Search your computer for this program, if you find it disable it or uninstall it or even delete the exe and I bet the toolbar lights up just like it did for everybody else that has had this problem.
I have told this same story here many times I hate to suggest deleting a program even one I believe is unnecessary but it worked for me when I had this same problem years ago and has helped many forum members to get the Toolbar working again.

Hello All
I second what juxtiphi has suggested. He discovered the 'Bonjour' problem some time ago, and it has resolved most if not all this type of issue with the Toolbar. For some unknown reason Bonjour stops the Toolbar in its tracks. Search your computer for this program, if you find it disable it or uninstall it or even delete the exe and I bet the toolbar lights up just like it did for everybody else that has had this problem.
