been using Gforce for years, never had this problem....
itunes crashes when I invoke show visualizer and Gforce is the visualizer...
I get "itunes could not find the for itunes plugin". as the error message....it doesn't even have the word "Gforce" in the message
standard apple visualizers work fine
I made no major changes to my system lately
I have reinstalled itunes I have reinstalled Gforce I have restarted my machine
no luck

I'm a Mac user. Also running the most-updated Mavericks. (I assume you're using the latest update to Mavericks, too.)
But no problems here as yet running any of the SoundSpectrum visualizers with iTunes.
Checked preferences (Disk Utility)? Yeah, I know that's not it but we stretch for straws when drowning... Run a maintenance program like Onyx? Sounds like you've done all I would've, so that's why I suggest doing these too.
When did it start happening? Do any of the other SoundSpectrum programs work? Are you a subscriber to SS or running the demo programs? Is it the beta?
Did you try running Activity Monitor and using it to select a slice of Console activity to send SoundSpectrum, so they see what's going on behind the scenes?
Anyway, good luck!
