How can I run the standalone with a borderless window?

Post by juxtiphi »

Hi Frank or anyone else who can answer.

My question is this, Is there a way to make The Stand Alone G-force use a border less window while in windowed mode?

In some of my other posts I have posted pics of one of the ways I enjoy G-force, thats is to have a video overlay showing live performance while G-force does its thing underneath.

After updating my video card It seems that AMD have changed the options for their video cards as I am no longer able to over scan the borders of my TV which used to hide the edges of the G-force window making it appear to be full screen. Now The top of the window is visible with no way to hide it.

My video play has an option to keep the vid window on top of other full screen apps and I have it set that way but it will not overlay G-force when in actual full screen.

Some may ask why overlay something on top of G-force?, If you a live video collection try it and watch one of your fav live acts and you will be blown away.

If only I could post the sample video I created then you would be convinced of how cool the idea is.

I definitely think it's a cool idea! There's no features within G-Force to remove the borders of the window, but I did a quick Google search and found out that this is a popular way to play games on your PC. So. some people have made tools that could help you remove the borders from your windows. I can't officially vouch for any of them, but most of the top search results seemed legitimate and non-scary. You'll have to decide on your own, though.

Be warned, running this way (especially with a video playing on top), can be taxing on your computers GPU.

Please let me know if there's anything more that I can do to help you!

Hi Frank

What happened to your post telling me to open a support ticket so I could send you my sample video? I have already opened a ticket.

Hi BTT

I guess the post was made in the Aeon section, I looked there but was unable to locate the post, but, I just got a notification of reply and both my post and Frank's are there.

Hi guys,

I just looked at the Aeon thread, and my post is still there. Did it disappear at some point over the weekend?
